From the blockbuster hit sitcom, “Family Ties,” Emmy® Award winning actress Meredith Baxter and co-star Michael Gross join Marie and share their experiences portraying one of TV’s most beloved parents and reveal behind-the-scenes secrets from the show. Meredith and Marie go back a long time, all the way to a "Love Boat" movie in which they played sisters, with parents played by Shelley Winters and Ernest Borgnine! Fortunately, the Keaton family of "Family Ties" has stayed in touch after all these years, and Michael and Meredith worked together on a recent Hallmark Channel movie, "Naughty or Nice."
Michael and Meredith each discuss their time on "Family Ties" and their respective relationships, as Michael met and married his wife, while Meredith was leaving an abusive marriage. Meredith discusses her coming out after three marriages, as well as her two experiences with breast cancer, both of which she as come through successfully. Later, Michael talks about his current film, "Meant to Be," and the power of the teacher in the life of a young person. His had his own positive experiences with teachers in his life, and wanted to bring that message into a movie as well.

Marilyn, a foster child whose youthful vision board of beautiful things helped her through a diffcult childhood, is the one who makes Marie's Vegas show shine! In Marilyn's first television appearance, she also gives the audience a special lesson on how to jewel your own shoes.

A member of Hollywood royalty, actor Jesse Johnson, whose parents are famed actors Don Johnson and Patti D’Arbanville, stops by Marie and talks about his latest role playing John Wilkes Booth in the television movie, “Killing Lincoln.” Jesse spent a good deal of time researching the role and became fascinated with Booth, and was lucky enough to score an audition for the role. Jesse celebrated winning the part with his father Don, as well as his sister Dakota, with whom Jesse shares a house in Hollywood.

Finally, Marie talks to “Jeopardy” champion Ken Jennings, who holds the record for the longest winning streak on the show, about his latest book, "Because I Said So!" which debunks the myths that parents have always told their children.
