A young, conservative widow and her two children, a boy and a girl, spend the summer visiting her parents in the small town where they have recently retired. Their neighbor is a carefree middle aged surfer who works part time as a swim instructor at the camp where her children enroll in swim lessons. The children immediately fall in love with him. Their grandfather does his best as the male role roles in their life, yet he can't do all the things the neighbor can do with them. Although the woman appreciates the time the neighbor spends with her children, she tries to keep her distance, especially after recognizing there is a mutual attraction. Neither of them is looking for a relationship, but the children have a way of getting their mother and the neighbor to begin a friendship that ultimately leads to romance.Stars Amanda Righetti and Peter Porte.
