Blackberry Mojito Ingredients
(makes 4)
• 24-30 mint leaves, plus more for garnish
• 20 blackberries, plus more for garnish
• 4 oz lime juice
• 4 sugar cubes (or 1 oz additional simple syrup)
• 3 oz simple syrup
• 2 oz light rum
• Hard, cubed ice as needed
Blackberry Mojito Recipe:
1. Muddle mint, blackberries, lime, and sugars in a glass pitcher or cocktail tin.
2. Add rum, ice, shake
3. Serve over ice and Enjoy
*Garnish with mint leaves and blackberries
*Wet the rim of a glass with a lime wedge and dip in raw sugar for a fanciful presentation
Blood Orange-Jalapeno Margarita Ingredients
(makes 4)
• 2 oz lime juice
• 4 oz fresh blood orange juice
• 3 oz Orange Curacao
• 8 oz Jalapeno-Infused Tequila (Gold Tequila for true 49er fans)
Blood Orange-Jalapeno Margarita Recipe:
*Slice 1 jalapeno and let steep in 8oz of tequila for 1-3 hours, strain and use in above cocktail
*Note: the longer the jalapeno steeps, the spicier your tequila will be. Want a real kick? Try it with serrano pepper, just 1 should do the trick)
1. Rim the glass with a lime/blood orange wedge and dip in cayenne salt
Cayenne-Sea Salt Rim
2. 1/4 cup flaked or coarse sea salt
3. 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
4. Mix and use to add an extra kick to your margarita
Simple Syrup:
Mix equal parts sugar and boiling water until granules dissolve
*Note: do not cook the sugar, this changes the viscosity of the syrup and causes it to spoil quicker
