Bryan and Karen Jones Chuck Wagon Cooking
Ingredients:
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups buttermilk
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 pkg dry yeast
1/2 cup vegetable oil
5 cups sifted flour
4 tsp baking powder
Recipe:
1. Sift dry ingredients
2. Add liquids (no particular order)
3. Mix
4. Knead dough on floured surface a few times, roll out to 2" thickness, cut with biscuit cutter, place in lightly oiled Dutch Oven.
5. Heat to 450 degrees. Don't let 'em burn!!
