Lesley Nico Interview

The actress visits Home & Family to talk about the final season of her PBS series, “Downton Abbey,” which premieres Sunday, January 3rd on PBS’ Masterpiece. Lesley also opens up about what it is like filming the show at Highclere Castle in Newbury, West Berkshire, England. The cast of “Downton Abbey” have also had the opportunity to meet Princess Catherine and Lesley, herself, has spoken to Prince Charles about medical detection for dogs.

Cristina Cooks!

Keeping with the “Downton Abbey” theme, Cristina enlists the help of Lesley Nico in the kitchen as she bakes Scottish Shortbread Cookies. When it comes to making the fine crumbs, Cristina suggests rubbing the butter into dry mixture with your fingertips. Don’t forget to knead the mixture until you get a doughy texture.

Aside from being an actress, Alex is also raising a daughter, Stella, as a single mom. Mark wants to know if she is out there dating, but Alex says she just got out of a marriage and she wants to concentrate on her career. Alex is also heavily involved in the Children’s Hospital, along with giving back to other programs.
