DIY Gummy Bear Lamp with Debbie Matenopoulos
Debbie Matenopoulos takes us on a journey to Candyland today. She tries her hands at crafting a gummy bear lamp. After sorting the gummy bears by color, she glues them on to a lampshade one by one in rows. Then, she attaches a giant gummy bear to the lamppost.
• Using your acrylic sealing, coat/spray entire lamp shade surface, let dry.
• On the back of each gummy bear, apply a dab of E6000 adhesive. • Attach gummy bears in vertical rows (or choose whatever pattern you desire) on the lamp shade (you can use a ruler to help ensure straight, even lines) • Using a ruler to trace lines on the lamp shade will ensure straight, even gummy bear rows. • Once adhesive spray/glued gummy bears are firm and dry, spray another coat of clear adhesive over entire surface. Follow TV host and personality Debbie Matenopoulos on Twitter @IAmDebbieM. Her first cookbook, "It's All Greek to Me," will be available in stores on April 28.
