" The Middle" actress Eden Sher has a way with words. She very cleverly created a website called the-emotionary.com to create words for the complex emotions she feels. This innovative idea was triggered by a bad breakup because she couldn't articulate her emotions properly. Mark and Cristina challenge Eden to create new word hybrids by selecting two emotions from a fishbowl and mashing them together.
Season three " MasterChef" winner Christine Ha explains how she finds her way around the kitchen safely, despite losing her sight in college. The talented chef was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called neuromyelitis optica, which caused her optic nerves to atrophy. She continues to routinely monitor her blood count and has monthly chemo infusions to prevent attacks. Christine talks about how "MasterChef" made slight modifications for her and laughs about getting scolded by judge Gordon Ramsey. Recalling colors from when she had vision, Christine uses texture and white space to create an image in her head of how she wants the food to be arranged on the plate for a beautiful presentation. Today, Christine shares a recipe for Vietnamese spring rolls. This was something her mom would prepare for her on special occasions. Sadly, her mom passed away when she was only 14 and didn't leave the recipe behind, so Christine has recreated it from memory.

In his new book, "You Are Beautiful," celebrity hairstylist Ken Paves preaches his philosophy of defining your own beauty. Using "Home & Family" producer Milena Monrroy as a model, Ken demonstrates how to style with your natural hair texture. Plus, he explains different types of hair extension options. Ken sure has it down to a science, able to get clients photoshoot-ready in a remarkable 30 minutes or less. Plus, he shares some stunning before-and-after shots from the July issue of O Magazine.

Fortune cookie writer and Ladybug Fortune Cookie Company owner Helen Shamoyan has a special, personalized message for Mark, Cristina, and each of the "Family" members today. Helen first got the idea to dip plain fortune cookies in chocolate and other coatings and decorate with sprinkles, candy, and more while out to dinner with her now-husband. The end result is almost too pretty to eat!

Cristina Cooks Grilled Herb Chicken with Mango Salsa & Israeli Couscous
Using herbs from the "Home & Family" garden, Cristina grills herb chicken, perfect for a 4th of July barbecue. She suggests cutting the chicken in half horizontally to cook faster and says to marinate and grill skin-side down. Plus, she also offers her guests two side dishes…mango salsa and Israeli couscous. Cristina recommends using sturdy paper goods like Dixie Ultra to serve your meal.

Jessie Jane DIY Wedding Wish Tree
Lifestyle expert Jessie Jane creates a DIY wedding wish tree in lieu of a traditional guest book as part of "Home and Family's" wedding series. Guests can sign cards during the cocktail hour or the reception and hang it on the tree. The newlyweds can bring the tree home and plant it in their yard as a lasting memory. Friends and family can customize their tags with embossing and write a special message to wish the couple luck. Then, punch a hole, loop a ribbon through, and tie it to a branch.
Gabi Kiss and Charlie Bontempo's much-anticipated wedding aired Friday, July 5 on "Home & Family."
