“The Love Boat” Reunion

Stars of the iconic television series, “The Love Boat” all sit down with Home & Family to talk about their famous show that ran from 1977-1987. Gavin MacLeod, Ted Lange, Fred Grandy, Cynthia Lauren Tewes, Bernie Kopell and Jill Whelan all share laughs and their favorite memories. The cast are still so close, Jill even shares the story that her TV dad Gavin MacLeod walked her down the aisle of her real life wedding!


DIY Holiday Ship in a Bottle Ornaments

Jill Whelan teams up with Paige Hemmis to make fun DIY Ship in a Bottle ornaments that would look perfect on any Christmas tree. Jill also shows viewers at home how to do the mercury glass technique, which a great way to make new items look antiqued and weathered.

In real life, Ted attended bartending school while filming “The Love Boat,” since his character was a bartender! Ted ends up making a rum-based cocktail that he calls “The Isaac.” Meanwhile, Fred makes a delicious vegan spread with his homemade squash butter.

Cynthia Lauren Lewes is in the kitchen with Mark and making a delicious side dish, Candy Salmon, a perfect dish for the holidays. Cynthia lives in the Pacific Northwest now, which partiallly explains why she has a love for seafood. Using brown sugar is a great way to sweeten up the salmon. Cynthia learned to cook after going to culinary school after her husband passed away.
