Tiffani Thiessen Cooks

The actress is in the Home & Family kitchen talking about her transition from actress to having her own cooking show, “Dinner at Tiffani’s,” which airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Cooking Channel. The concept for the show was born from hosting so many dinner parties for her friends. Today, she is preparing one of her favorite dishes, avocado toast, in which she recommends adding smoked bacon as well. As a dessert, she also prepares her signature affogato, which is a simple dessert of ice cream topped with coffee.

She opens up about her how stint on the daytime soap was only supposed to be three episodes but her character was such a hit that she is now going into her third year on the show! In her spare time, she enjoys traveling the US and speaking at educational conferences and teaching people how her books work.

Author of “Deceptive Desserts: A Lady’s Guide to Baking Bad,” Christine McConnell is in the kitchen baking up some banana bread. Christine jokes that she was a very bad secretary before turning to baking, and learned a lot of what she knows from watching videos on YouTube. The fun part about her banana bread is that it actually looks like a banana! For an extra crunch, Christine recommends adding some toasted walnuts to the bread.

How to Combat Dog Aggression

Celebrity dog trainer Joel Silverman is back to give you some tips on how to curb your dog’s territorial issues, along with aggression. He advises that you should never allow two dogs to meet for the first time in an uncontrolled environment. There needs to be set boundaries between the two dogs, especially if they will be living under the same roof. Also, you must make sure to have an assortment of toys for both dogs to be entertained by. Finally, he tells you to make sure you seek immediate help from a professional trainer if your dogs viciously attack one another.
