Pimento Cheese and Red Sangria
Shanti’s Boozy Red Sangria Recipe
  • 1 -1 1/2 bottles red wine (any will do) leftovers are perfect 1 bag frozen mixed berries
  • 1-2 orange slices, cut into half moons
  • 1/2-3/4 cup citrus flavored Vodka
  • 1 can frozen lemonade
Shanti's Pimento cheese Dip
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar
  • 1 cup smoked Gouda
  • 1 jar pimento, drained
  • 1 minced jalapeño/ Serrano
  • 1 8 oz softened cream cheese
  • 1/3 cup mayo
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Garnish with chives


Directions for Sangria:


  1. Mix all together and let the flavors blend, about an hour
  1. Serve over ice!
  1. If you want it lighter and spritzy add sparkling water or use sparkling lemonade!
