A quick way to cook breakfast.
Kym's Microwave Cooking
Ingredients for French Toast:
  • Bread
  • Butter
  • Egg
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • Cinammon
  • Syrup
Ingredients for Nutella Mug Cake:
  • 4 tablespoons self-rising flour
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 3 tablespoons Nutella
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil


Directions to poach one egg in the microwave:


  1. Fill one mug with a ½ cup of water.
  1. Carefully crack an egg into the water.
  1. Make sure the egg is immersed in the water.
  1. Cover the mug.
  1. Cook on high for 1 minute.
  1. The white should be firm, but the yolk should still jiggle to indicate it’s runny.


Directions for the French toast:


  1. Cube sandwich bread.
  1. Add melted butter to the inside of your cup.
  1. Separate cup: cracked egg, 3 tablespoons of milk, sprinkle cinammon.
  1. Mix together with a fork.
  1. Pour the mixture into your cup with the bread and let it soak into the bread.
  1. Microwave cup for 1 minute.
  1. Add warm syrup


Directions for the Nutella Mug cake:


  1. Combine all ingredients in a large coffee mug
  1. Whisk well with a fork until smooth
  1. Microwave on high for 1 ½ minutes
