Cookey Eclairs and Cookey Fondu

Cookey Eclairs and Cookey Fondu
Ingredients for Cookey Eclairs
  • 1 pkg. (8) Pillsbury Quick Crescent Rolls
  • 2 individual snack size vanilla pudding
  • 1 "Ready to Spread" can of chocolate frosting
  • 4 (6x6) squares of aluminum foil
  • 4 (1 to 1 1/4 in) diameter aluminum tent poles or green sticks with bark peels 6 inches on end
Ingredients for Cookey Fondu
  • 1 (7-8oz) wheel, soft-ripened brie cheese
  • 1 Tbsp brandy
  • 1 Loaf of sourdough or baguette

INSTRUCTIONS FOR COOKEY ECLAIRS

1) Wrap foil tightly around end of pole or green stick

2) Form dough, by wrapping crescent roll around foil or stick or tube

3) Cook slowly over hot coals until brown, turning often

4) Remove cooked tubes, fill with vanilla pudding

5) Spread chocolate frosting on top


INGREDIENTS FOR COOKEY FONDU

1) Unwrap cheese and place inside 12x12 aluminum foil

2) Puncture cheese and pour liquor inside

3) Fold foil up over the top of the cheese and sealing closed

4) Place over embers, not direct flame of fire

5) Cook for 10-12 minutes

6) Remove, open foil, and scoop our cheese with bread
