Chocolate Peanut Butter Bon Bons

Ingredients:
  • 1 pound powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter; room temperature 
  • 2 cups peanut butter 
  • 3 cups Rice Krispies; crushed
  • 1 pound candy coating chocolate; milk or dark will work


Directions:


  1. Cream butter and peanut butter together

  2. Add powdered sugar

  3. Add in Krispies

  4. Mix until well combined

  5. Scoop out and roll into about 1 inch balls

  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours

  7. Once chilled melt the chocolate by placing it in a bowl over a pot of simmering water (also known as a double boiler) being careful the water isn't touching the bowl

  8. Use a fork to dip the cold bon bons into the chocolate

  9. Tap the fork on the side of the bowl to remove excess chocolate

  10. Place on a sheet of wax paper to set up

  11. Let balls chill for at least 2 hours
