Lorraine Toussaint Interview

The actress sits down with Mark and Cristina to talk about her new series, “Rosewood.” On the show, she plays Morris Chesnut’s mother, which is amusing because in real life, she is only nine years older than the actor. The Trinidad-born actress is also fresh off her success of playing “Vee” in the hit Netflix series, “Orange is the New Black.”

Ryan is joined by his two young sons and then he talks about how he met his wife, who he calls his “perfect girl.” Before becoming a successful actor, Ryan was a model for Abercrombie & Fitch. When Ryan isn’t acting, he also enjoys spending his free time coaching his sons’ flag football teams.

Cristina is cooking up one of her favorite dishes, Butternut Squash Lasagna. She calls it one of her favorites because you can freeze it after cooking it and serve it whenever you need a last-minute dinner. With this pasta dish, she also prepares a delicious Grapefruit Salad. To save time, she says you can purchase butternut squash already cubed at the store. The squash is also full of vitamin A, fiber and potassium.
