Vivica A. Fox Interview

The actress stops by Home & Family to talk about her upcoming TV movie “A Royal Family Holiday,” which premieres November 21st, 8/7c on TV One. Before she talks about the movie, Mark asks Vivica about her debut on the smash hit “Empire,” where she plays the on-screen sister to her real life friend of 15 years, Taraji P. Henson. When it comes to the holidays, Vivica says Thanksgiving is the one time a year her entire family gets together.


Georgia Pickled Shrimp

Chef Anthony Lamas of Seviche Restaurant is in the kitchen with Cristina preparing Georgia Pickled Shrimp. The chef talks about what it was like growing on a farm and how he developed his passion for food and fresh ingredients at a young age. Anthony’s Louisville, Kentucky restaurant pairs Latin flavors with traditional Southern dishes.

DIY Christmas Ornament Dress

Orly Shani and Kym Douglas team up for a holiday DIY that was inspired by Pinterest. Orly says the entire DIY only took up three hours of time. When picking up the garland, you want to make sure it has the wire still in it, so you can easily loop it. Decorate the dress any way you want, with ornaments, lights, bows and ribbons.

Creative Ways to Reveal Baby’s Gender

Kristin Smith comes up with some very fun ways that parents-to-be can reveal their baby’s gender to family and friends. From giving out a colored balloon at the Thanksgiving table or using a plastic ornament to create a chalk ball that you can throw a pitch at, when the ball explodes after hitting it, the color of the baby powder inside the ball will be pink or blue.
